Seated around a kitchen table, Tom Bennett III shared his dream to open another bank with his parents, Tom, Jr., and Sue, and a group of veteran bankers.Supported by over 200 of Oklahoma’s leading families, First Oklahoma Bank started in 2009 with Thomas E. Bennett Jr. as Chairman of the Board and Co-CEO and Thomas E. Bennett III as President and Co-CEO. Since then, the bank has grown to about 100 employees with a new headquarters in Jenks and locations in midtown Tulsa and Glencoe.

As of Dec. 31, 2015, First Oklahoma Bank had become the 34th largest bank headquartered in Oklahoma out of 212. We are the 7th largest bank headquartered in Tulsa County.
